Among other things, travelling does wonders for your eyes. You go someplace faraway where things are different, and when you come back, you start to notice that things are just as strange over here as they are over there. I just drove across the United States and coming back to New York, the city blocks look that little bit taller and the accents sound that little bit more pronounced. But more than how things seem different here in NY, they seem so very much the same. Looking through some of my old pictures from this past year I found this 1970 International pickup out in the beautiful Williamsburg-Greenpoint Industrial Business Zone and its great length reminded me of America in a way that I could’t have imagined before driving 4,400 miles from coast to coast.
