1987 Alfa Romeo Milano

I bumped into this Milano not long before Christmas and it looked spectacular with the orange glow of Manhattan at night reflecting up on the street still wet with rain.

It’s always strange to find a cool old car on the street at night; you don’t quite believe you eyes when you see something as cool as a bizarro styling-era Alfa Romeo during the day. The way a car can just emerge in the darkness in the bleary and very late hours makes them even more unreal.

The color infusing these photos is beautiful!

Wonderful tones. The reflections are evocative as well. So many different elements present in the city. I’m thinking of the kind of music to score these images. Cool jazz?

I love the dream-like feeling you get seeing an Alfa in the streets of Mmerica! 😉 Love these shots!… But unfortunately the future does not look too bright for this brand!

We shall see – Alfa may go on to live a bright life here in America as Dodges in disguise, not so different from Hillmans living fruitful lives as Paykans!
