Toyota Tercel

Ever since I saw one of these little three-door first-gen Tercels, I fell in love with their dainty one-piece glass hatches and their chunky proportions. Thirty years of wear and tear must have made them fun to drive, even if they were built to be uninvolving, plain, efficient front-drive economy cars. I’ve said it before: I want one.

I found this one in sunny Arcata, CA, way up in Humboldt County, where the weed doth grow and the old cars never rust away. It was an auto, but it had the GT pack! Whatever that means.
