Not in the least – I’ve checked your site out also and I love the mix of being a car-loving gourmet and a gourmet of cars!

Absolutely Brilliant Blog! For a massive dose of “Bore”, please visit my Blog, which is all about the Rootes Group Arrow series, including the Hillman Hunter and its Iranian counterpart the Paykan: http://www.PaykanHunter.com

Wish you the best of Luck with your Blog!

  5. Raphael Orlove, stumbled upon your site last week and knew your name sounded really familiar. You’re the new member of Jalopnik! Congrats, hope you’re learning a lot and I’m glad you still have time to invest on your personal blog. Keep up the good work!

  6. I stumbled upon your blog while trying to solve the ORCNYC mystery (finally I know who collects those forgotten classics) and immediately recognized your name from Jalopnik…wish we could see more like this on Jalopnik! There’s something a thousand times more interesting seeing a car in a city environment than out in the middle of nowhere (and I miss Down on the Street). All that said, this blog and your photography are both fantastic and I’m glad to have found it now.

Looking forward to more posts both here and on Jalopnik, keep it all up!

Hi CarSpotter – I just used one of your pictures on Jalopnik today! Great to hear the kind words from another person going around shooting cars on NYC streets. I miss DOTS, too. Maybe I’ll get some more street shots on the site.

And I know what you mean about ORCNYC! I was nearly floored when it all came together when I first met Olivier Renaud-Clement.

  7. Hello Raphael,

Nice blog you have here! I’ve read through your 2014.5 Ford Mustang post over on Jalopnik and wanted to extend a “thank you” from AmericanMuscle for the blog reference. I see you put out a ton of good content over there and I’ll have be sure to continue following your posts.

  8. Raphael,

Great blog, and keep up the fine work at Jalopnik. Oh, and thanks for picking up the Curbside Classic Cherokee story!

Raphael, love the site…I’m a NYC car lover too. Feel free to email me if you’d like to meetup on the UWS. Also, I’m part of the NYC go kart and F1 meet-up groups if you’re ever up to go racing or watch racing!
